I can confirm that MIMP works on Win 7 Ultimate it creates a lot of other problems and that the explorer keeps crashing. At least that is the only solution I found - uninstall it in safe mode!

I just wish and pray that someone would come up with a compatible version. I am so used to it! Without it I am practically miserable.

Still, Scroll Navigator is no MousImp Pro. MouseImp is just so much smoother when scrolling and doesn't have the jerky bugs that Scroll Navigator does. Regardless, because it would be a code overhaul to enable for x64, I am just noting to recognize what a good yet simple program MouseImp Pro is. Great program.

Perhaps we use it differently. I've only used MouseImp for a middle mouse button grab/scroll. This is exactly what Marble Mouse does for me.

Perhaps it's because Marble Mouse doesn't support right/left mouse button drag/scroll, which is fine for me because I use the right for gestures and the left for QuickDrag functions.

I'll make a topic for this program as well!

EDIT: nope, that's not *it*. Unfortunately, MarbleMouse works in quite a different way, and is no replacement for MouseImp or the paid alternatives.

I finally found a free alternative to Mouseimp for Windows that works with google Chrome and doesn't crash in Vista 32 bit.

Mouseimp kept causing weird crashes on applications on my Vista 32bit machine. I didn't have it running, then as soon as I started it up applications would start to crash.

I was also frustrated that Mouseimp wouldn't work with google Chrome.

I just got a Logitech Trackman mouse for Christmas and accidentally stumbled across "Marble Scroll". Even though it was primarily written for the Logitech Marble Mouse, it works great with my Trackman and I also tested it with a regular mouse.

No more crashing apps and it works with google Chrome.

ScrollNavigator does not do it for me on Win7-x64.
Either choppy scrolling or nothing at all.

MouseStar might work better for some of you, but is unfortunately not as straight as mouseimp was, so again no options until now.. o(

regards,
rob.

Let me add a link to Scroll Navigator: http://www.desksoft.com/ScrollNavigator.htm

If I decide to upgrade to an x64 system, this will be the first thing I'll use.

Hey guys,

For x64, I found Scroll Navigator. Thing is, it costs money and is not as fluid and smooth as mouse imp pro. Good work aoleg! And thanks for having looked into a port. I guess someone else will have to implement or we just wait for something else to come out. Man, such a great tool.
